AARHUS CITY TOWER

Business people, private hotel guests and citizens of Aarhus can look forward to an expansion of the popular Comwell Aarhus, which will be ready around the turn of the year 2026/2027 with a new 15-storey hotel tower as well as a skyline bar and a roof terrace.

NEW SILHOUETTE FOR THE CITY’S SKYLINE

With its central location in Aarhus, Comwell Aarhus has formed a distinctive silhouette in the city’s skyline for the past ten years. The tall, slim hotel tower functions almost like a city lighthouse – and that position is now underlined by an expansion with a new 15-storey hotel tower.

The new hotel tower was designed by Arkitema and is being constructed by Nordstern in collaboration with the developer, CLF Lorenzen K/S, and Comwell Hotels, as the tenant of the hotel tower.

INTERNATIONAL ATMOSPHERE WITH THE BEST VIEW IN THE CITY

Once the hotel tower has been completed at the turn of the year 2026/2027, it will increase the capacity to a total of 401 hotel rooms, a fitness centre, meeting facilities, a restaurant and a 370m² roof terrace with a skyline bar, where hotel guests can enjoy a 360-degree view of Aarhus city centre.

An intermediate building will be constructed on the first floor, linking the existing Comwell with the new hotel tower and ensuring a pleasant and natural connection between the two buildings.

The hotel rooms will be located up to the 12th floor, and they will all be furnished with prefabricated bathrooms from Green Box. The bathrooms will be designed and tailored specifically for the new hotel tower and will be delivered in nine different variants.
