Green Box bathrooms are built around an innovative and unique lightweight structure that provides a wide range of civil engineering advantages. For example, the lightweight structure makes it possible to work with significantly slimmer structures and floor separation than when using conventional and much heavier concrete pods.

This is good for both the economy and the environmental footprint of any building project. But that is not all. Because even though a prefabricated bathroom is a ready-made bathroom solution, there are also no limits to the design process.

Regardless of whether you are working on drawings for an apartment building, a hotel, a dorm or something else entirely, we offer great architectural freedom when it comes to design, choice of materials and location of technical installations in our bathrooms.

This freedom also opens for more unconventional solutions.

Our production process makes it possible to produce series of bathrooms tailored to the exact style and needs of your specific project.

The production process and our stable structures also mean that we can offer large-format tiles (floor to ceiling) at no major additional cost – a solution that, in addition to unique design options, also optimises the operation and maintenance of the bathroom.

In batch production, we also achieve a high and uniform quality and finish across bathrooms, which can otherwise be difficult to achieve.

BATHROOMS WITH MINIMAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

Consideration for the environment is an integral part of the way we work at Green Box. This is reflected in our prefabricated bathrooms, which are manufactured to have the least possible environmental impact.

Green Box only uses materials approved for Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction and can also provide EPDs for all materials. Green Box bathrooms can also be produced in accordance with all recognised environmental and building certifications. DGNB and BREEAM-certified hotel projects are among our references.

With our unique lightweight structure, we deliver bathrooms that only contain concrete in the floors. This results in a prefabricated bathroom with a low carbon footprint, which can also help reduce the building’s overall carbon footprint.

Green Box prefabricated bathrooms emit approx. 3 kg CO2/m2/year.
