Hringhamar

In the beautiful port town of Hafnarfjörður, just south of Reykjavik, 74 apartments with bathrooms from Green Box are being constructed as part of a large-scale residential project. The architectural firm T.ark arkitektar has designed the building project, where CLT panels will be used in the construction.

Peace and harmony

In the development of the Green Box bathrooms for the new apartments in Hringhamar 6-8, the focus for the choice of both tiles and interior has been a calm and harmonious colour scheme.

The walls and floor are clad with the same type of tiles that with their neutral colour and large square format provide a uniform and calm surface, contributing to a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in the bathrooms.

The well-conceived and functional layout of the bathrooms gives a sense of spaciousness and also ensures easy maintenance for the future residents.

The bathrooms are prefabricated at Green Box in Denmark before they are shipped to Iceland ready to be assembled. The bathrooms are built around an innovative lightweight construction, ideal for CLT and other types of wooden construction.
