At Green Box, we think innovatively and we are constantly challenging ourselves, so that we can be at the forefront of the development and production of the market’s preferred prefabricated bathrooms.
The quotation from John F. Kennedy’s famous moon speech from 1962 is an important guideline in our work and has over the years become the foundation of the culture and DNA that today characterise Green Box.
But what does it mean? For us, it is a question of not being guided by the known, but constantly pushing the boundaries and exploring new possibilities. And even if something seems difficult, that is not a reason not to explore it. On the contrary. It is precisely in curiosity and willingness to challenge what is immediately possible that we can create innovative solutions and thus set new standards.
Being at the forefront requires knowledge, resources and, not least, courage. It is not always easy, in fact, it can often be difficult. But that is also what makes it challenging and exciting.
With the ambition to deliver prefabricated bathrooms of the highest quality to the construction industry now and in the future, we have a constant focus on innovation, high quality and an approach to sustainability that can be measured all the way through our Danish production to the construction sites.

Bathrooms with a low carbon footprint
At Green Box, we want to contribute to more sustainable construction with solutions that are both economical and environmentally friendly. That is part of our responsibility. That is why we are constantly optimising our processes and focusing on creating prefabricated bathrooms that are as environmentally friendly as possible.
Innovation and development form the basis for our ambition to contribute to the green transition in the construction industry, and with an innovative and environmentally-oriented approach, we help set new standards.
We only use materials approved for Nordic Swan Ecolabelled construction and can also provide EPDs for all materials. Our bathrooms can also be produced in accordance with all recognised environmental and building certifications.
Green Box is based on a lightweight design only containing concrete in the floors. This results in a prefabricated bathroom with a low carbon footprint. Our bathrooms emit approx. 3 kg CO2/m2/year.

Green Box A/S strengthens the competitiveness of the construction industry by facilitating and improving the construction process through the use of technological, sustainable and innovative solutions in prefabricated lightweight bathrooms.
Mission
The mission of Green Box A/S is to create a company that stands out by delivering prefabricated and affordable lightweight bathrooms made of a combination of steel and concrete. Our bathrooms weigh only a third of traditional, prefabricated bathrooms and are significantly more flexible when it comes to customisation. We always prioritise the highest quality, and, through our solutions and advice, we reduce challenges in the construction process and facilitate completion on the construction site.

The story of green box A/s
Green Box began its journey in 2014 as we saw a need in the market for prefabricated bathrooms with low installation height and low weight.
Production started on a small scale with a factory hall of 500 m2 in the Danish town of Holstebro.
From day one, we have had a natural focus on digitalisation, optimisation of processes and environmentally-friendly production. We have determinedly developed and tested the design of our bathrooms, which is today patented in Denmark and the EU.
This has brought us on a growth journey up to today, where we have approx. 150 dedicated employees and produce around 4,000 bathrooms a year.
Along the way, we have replaced the factory hall in Holstebro with larger production facilities in the town of Aulum, located between Herning and Holstebro. All Green Box bathrooms will therefore continue to be produced at our own factory in Denmark. In autumn 2023, we established an office and showroom in Stockholm, from where an experienced sales team handles our activities in both Sweden and Norway.
In 2021, Green Box became part of the A/S Motortramp, group, which is today the majority owner of the company.

With Børsen Bæredygtig Cases, Børsen pays tribute to the companies that push the green transition with specific projects. In 2022, the award went to Green Box A/S.

In 2020, Green Box A/S was named Børsen Gazelle with a growth rate of 748%.

The growth entrepreneur award 2017
In 2017, Green Box received the Growth Entrepreneur Award from the Herning & Ikast-Brande Business Council. The award was given on the basis of Green Box’s development and implementation of an innovative business model as well as for the significant growth realised in just a few years.
